Nellie’s is a safe space, where women and their children are empowered to create a new path. Our vital services help women and families break the cycle of violence, poverty, and homelessness.

Shelter

We open our doors to women so they can open new doors for themselves. Our 22-room shelter with space for up to 38 beds provides a safe, secure home for healing, personal growth, and renewed strength. We are dedicated to empowering women and children as they build a brighter future.

Transitional Housing

We help women find a place of their own where they can feel secure and confident in their new beginning. Our guidance and advocacy around tenant rights enables women to assert themselves and move forward on a new, secure path.

Community Outreach

Systemic and sustainable change is needed beyond our walls, so we take our work into the community, too. Nellie’s respects the unique experiences and needs of all who access our programs, making sure we prioritize their equitable access to resources, support, and opportunities.
