Here at Nellie’s we know that the holiday season isn’t cozy, happy, and safe for everyone. But thanks to all those who shared their warmth, kindness, and generous donations with Nellie’s during December 2025, our clients were truly embraced by the festive spirit. So many supportive donors went the extra mile to spread joy within our shelter and the wider community — and for this we are truly grateful.
It’s hard to express the difference an unexpected Christmas present makes to a child, or a moment of self-care makes to a woman whose year has been burdened by worry and fear. Every gift sends a message of comfort and support, helping our clients to find the strength and renewed hope they need to move forward. And every financial contribution enables us to continue building a future free of gender-based violence.
