Description: Nellie’s Food Bank provides fresh, frozen, and packaged food to women experiencing food insecurity. Operating weekly from East End United Regional Ministry on the Danforth, the program supports more than 110 women each week, including those raising children, older women living on limited fixed incomes, and women with disabilities who face financial barriers.
Through food donations, including contributions from Second Harvest, the program distributes food bags to help women and their families meet their basic needs. Two public transit tickets are also provided to support access to the program.
