SUMMARY:COUNTERfit Women’s Harm Reduction Program
DESCRIPTION:Every SECOND Tuesday of the month\, from 9:00-11:00 am.\n\nProg
 ram is located at Queen and Carlaw\, on the 3rd floor.\n\nCOUNTERfit Women
 ’s Harm Reduction Program – SRCHC\n\nThis drop-in provides a hot break
 fast and we sit at a large table with all the individuals that attend.\n\n
 --\n\nThe Women’s Harm Reduction Program is a trans-inclusive\, sex-work
  positive program for all women who use drugs.\n\nThe program arose from a
  recognized community need for specialized\, trauma-informed\, community b
 uilding support for women who use drugs\, to provide:\n\n 	a safe space 
 for open discussion\n 	a foundation to build communities of support\n 	ac
 cess to health care\n 	engagement in harm reduction education\n 	employmen
 t and training opportunities\n\nWeekly programs may include:\n\n 	candle m
 aking\n 	photography\n 	tie-dye\n 	educational speakers (Hep C Nurse\, Wom
 en’s Health in Women’s Hands\, etc)\n\nThe main access point for new m
 embers is through the Women’s Harm Reduction Drop-In which takes place e
 very Tuesday morning from 9:30- 11:30a.m. The group comes together to enjo
 y a light breakfast\, group based activities\, education\, and discussion 
 groups. Group participants also have the opportunity to access health care
  via a nurse practitioner and a client care coordinator to provide wrap-ar
 ound clinical and mental health supports.\n\nThere is no registration requ
 ired and the drop-in is open to cis and trans women\, 2Spirit\, and non-bi
 nary folks who use drugs and/or have experience with sex work.\n\nIf you w
